The bottles have a seal over the opening. How do you remove the seals? I just can't pry them off.

I have the G3060 which isn't mentioned....3 years strong....weekly printing....still on the "starter" ink that came with it....Can print from my phone and other devises and has a pretty decent scanner....my only complaint is the LCD screen is small and not back lit....so it is hard to see....I'll stick to "OEM" ink.

I converted my ET 8550 to dtf and it won’t print anything. Papers coming out blank. Do you know how to solve this?

Hi, I have an Epson et 5800 printer and I love it. I was wondering if you have any advice for the toner carriage rods. My printer is squeaking and having a hard time of correctly printing things when I do prints and I found out its from toner the toner cartridge going across the carriage bar. One of the bars has old lubricant on it. From my guess the lubricant is old, dusty and has animal hair on it. Any advice on how to maintain a carriage rod, like should I wipe off the old acess and put on new lubricant?

The video was very helpful I will try to fix the problem with it. This way will not have to buy another printer.

Followed the instructions to the letter however the 545 is not recognizing the replacement ink cartridges (purchased via your link). I tried cleaning the contacts, etc. still getting the same error. I've also tried unplugging the printer to try and reset the memory but... Are you aware that on the ink cartridges just above the contacts there is a very, very small upside-down "Epson" that has some sort of paint covering it? Will its removal (when you clean the contacts) affect the recognizability of the cartridge when installed?

Thank you for sharing this video. I have the very same printer, and although I had to run the clean printhead several (several) times, it eventually cleaned itself. Now I am back to seeing all 4 colors on paper.

Does not tell people you have to open not just the cover, but also the scan glass.

I have set up the printer & I can print, but I don't have a disc drawer on my laptop & so I don't know how to get the menu on my laptop for scanning etc? No one shows how to set up on a computer.

You also have to factor in that HP is charging you for documents you fax. For instance, if you fax a 20 page document that counts as 20 copies. I recently cancelled my subscription because they were adding copes I didn’t make. (I kept a tally sheet when I printed). Now, after cancelling the service I purchased new ink cartridges and I can’t print unless I continue to log in to my HP. Instant Ink account. They are holding my printer hostage and I can’t print. DON’T sign up for this service because it’s more headaches than it’s worth, not to mention more expensive.

all the color are printing except for the yellow. i did get resistance when doing the unclog method.

Why is a fax, So expensive?

Does the ink dry? Mine never does on another hp model so looking to replace. I change the settings according to what I’m printer and the black ink never dries.

Well got the cleaning solution from Amazon followed the steps but apparently so clogged I couldn’t push the solution through. 😢 not sure what I can do now. I have done several nozzle checks and cleaning and 2 power cleans before attempting the solution.

Help!!! bought the cleaning kit. followed instructions waited the 24 hours, but did not have the top back on and started up and did not have tanks completely full and it printed a print test which did not show the colors. Did I ruin the printer?

What can I do about the Printer not refilling one of it's cartridges inside. All colors are full except yellow. It's completely empty. Only Ink Charge in wicreset helped so far, but is there a better solution?

Hello Brandon, I don't know if you still read comments since this video was done 4 years ago. I have had an Epson ET4760 for 3.3 years. I love the printer and use it often. I had 200 flyers and 100 pamphlets to print for a ministry even last Sunday. When I attempted to print them the colors were off. When I did the print nozzle check BCM were fine, but there was no yellow. I went on RUclips to fix the problem I watched a lot of videos but yours was the best. I ordered the BP Printhead Cleaning Kit. Of course It did not come in time for me to print the flyers/pamphlet so I "farmed them out" to other. Today was the first chance I had to do the cleaning. As you demonstrated, it was very easy. I appreciated your step-by-step instructions. I did everything exactly as you demonstrated and it went "smooth as silk". With the exception of one problem. The white paper under the print head got wet and fell apart. I had paper towels on the right side which got soaked, as your did. I had a Sham Wow cloth to soak up excess. Now I am in the 24 hour drying time. My concern is the wet white paper underneath that is falling apart from the liquid. Do I need to replace this or leave it as is? Will my printer work when all is dry? Thank you.

Unless you have an active business for Photos I would never recommend Canon... Check the price of ink and multiple for how many cartridges it needs.

The older models such as T920, T3000, used larger cartridges, also allowed you to install a cistern system so you could run off aftermarket inks. My personal favourite is the T3500, it's not very old but reasonably better than my Epson SC T5200, a lot more economic on the ink use. With the Epson I run it off Colourbest cartridges, a lot cheaper and near impossible to guess differences regarding official Xcore ink and the stuff I get from colourbest. Highly recommend them.

thanks man, it worked great. mine was very clogged (Bk) so i had to push a lot of times since i could see alcohol running as thin rain on the other side of the printhead.

That’s exactly what made my printer clogged. NON CANON ink. Never had this issue before for 5 years with Canon ink. And the non canon ones I bought, the printer identifies as “genuine” canon, which appears to be even better than the ink you are using which canon is rejecting as non genuine. Still clogged my printer after not printing for just 5 weeks

I use sublimation ink in my ET 2850 and was told NOT to run the cleaning solution through, but hot water. Is this correct. None of my colors are printing.

Something my mother is concerned with, is the document scanner (adf). She doesn’t care about speed. But all documents she receives are double sided. It’s the standard for bank details, legal notices, etc. Can the Adf do that?

Unable to open the door. What am I doing wrong???

I watched several videos to try to get my ET-2850 printer working again. Yours was very clear and easy to follow. I cleaned all 4 printheads as I wasn't able to get any of the colors to print. After following the process, I now have yellow printing, but not the other colors. I am purchasing another kit and will go through it again with the 3 stubborn colors. I am praying it works....2 printers having the issues and my customers await!
